Your room stays on your device

Room Preview does not require an account and does not automatically send your room, camera images, furniture arrangements, or saved projects to us. Camera and spatial mapping are processed on your iPhone or iPad. Saved projects and room maps remain in the app’s local storage. Deleting a saved project removes it from the app; deleting the app removes its local app data. Your device backup settings may include local app data in a backup managed by Apple.

Camera, photos, and sharing

Camera access is used to show and place virtual furniture in your surroundings. The app asks for camera permission when needed. Saving an image to Photos is a choice you make; Room Preview does not browse your photo library. If you share an image, the iOS sharing service and the destination you choose handle that sharing. You can change camera and photo permissions in iOS Settings.

Optional support messages

If you choose to contact support or send a bug report, we receive what you send. A bug report can include your description, severity, optional reply email address, app and iOS version, and device model. Nothing is emailed automatically: you review the native email draft and decide whether to send it. Please avoid sending private room images or personal information that is unnecessary for support. We use support messages to answer you and investigate the reported issue.

App analytics and tracking

The current iOS app has no advertising, tracking, analytics SDK, account service, or automatic upload service. Room Preview does not sell your personal information.

This website

This public website is separate from the iOS app. It stores your analytics preference locally in your browser. Google Analytics is loaded only if you choose to allow it. With consent, it measures public page visits and basic device and traffic information to help us understand the site. Advertising features are disabled. We do not send support messages, names, email addresses, phone numbers, uploaded files, account identifiers, or URL query strings to Analytics. You can change your choice using Analytics choices in the footer. Google describes its processing at policies.google.com/privacy. Hosting providers may process ordinary request information needed to deliver and secure the website.

Questions and changes

Contact support@jimdoes.it about privacy or support messages you have sent us. If the app’s data handling changes, this policy will be updated before the new behavior is released. The effective date above identifies this version.
